On the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima, SDRV Convent School launched the Public Health Club in collaboration with the School of Public Health, University of Memphis, USA. SDRV Convent School has become the first and only school in India to establish such a club with this esteemed university.
After interacting with the students, teachers, and Smt. Gargi Ghosh Kansabanik, Principal of the school, and being impressed by their talents, Dr. Ashish Joshi, Dean of the School of Public Health at the University of Memphis, USA, announced the establishment of the Public Health Club at SDRV Convent School, Dankaur. This initiative aims to promote public health education at the school level in India.
This club is set to enhance public health education for our students and the local community, providing them with valuable opportunities for growth and international exchange.
